By joining this group, I was really hoping to meet quite a bit of new friends to communicate with on autism and parenting. But whenever I log on, there's no one here. I can't get onto the welcome mat to introduce myself or the suggestion box. And there is no general forum. I feel like I'm in a ghost town. Is anyone here?

At age 11, Laura learned to ride a bike! It took the help of her OT, PT, and gym teacher at BOCES, and I was so proud when they took me out back and she came riding over! I immidiately ran out and got her a bike... now she is learning to drive!

Kids with Special needs aren't weird or odd. They only want what everyone wants..... to be accepted. Can I make a request? Is anyone willing to post this and leave it on your status for 1 hour? It is Special Education week & Autism & ADHD Awareness month
